Ravindra Jadeja Joins Elite List Of All-Rounders

Ravindra Jadeja joins the elite list of All-rounders in the ongoing test match against Bangladesh. Playing his 74th test he dismissed Bangladesh’s No.11 for a duck on day four, he got his 300th test wicket. Apart from 300 wickets, he has also scored 3,122 runs with an average of 24.0. There are a few all-rounders in the history of test cricket that have achieved the feat.

He became the 11th all-rounder to take 300 wickets and score 3,000 test runs. After Kapil Dev and Ravichandran Ashwin, he is the third Indian to be part of the elite list of all-rounders.

He is the second fastest to the feat after Ian Botham. Botham achieved the feat in 72 matches while Jadeja achieved the milestone in 74 matches.

Jadega’s Test Career In A Glance

Jadeja has a wonderful test career as an all-rounder. So far he has picked up 13 Five Wickets hauls in 139 innings at an average of 24.0 and is the 4th highest wicket-taker among all spinners.

As a batter, he has scored four test hundred, averaging 36.72 overall. Jadeja has the second-best batting average among all-rounders with 3000 runs and 300 wickets. He is only behind Imran khan who scored 3,807 at an average of 37.69
