Imad Wasim is in the eye of the storm following the Pakistan Vs India match, Pakistan lost the match eventually. Prior to the USA game it was reported that he had a rib injury. After the defeat against United States the team management decided to bring in Imad Wasim to Beef Up it’s spin department and batting too, as Imad is an all-rounder. He was declared fit for the India-Pakistan game.

However, after the defeat against India, former Chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team Muhammad Wasim accused Imad of hiding his injury.

Imad’s Slow Batting Brings Pakistan At Verge Of Tournament Elimination

He said it was a knee injury rather than a rib injury. Imad was rusty in his bowling. While batting it was obvious that he is unable to run quick singles and doubles. He played 4 dot balls of the bowling of Axar Patel.

He scored 15 of 23 balls which is slow going in a T20 game. He should have scored at strike rate of more than 100 to give impetus to his team chasing only 120 runs.

Mohammed Wasim added  that things will come out with the passage of time. It is not easy to keep things hidden these days. Knee injury is a long-standing injury that is obvious and cannot be concealed.
