Tony Hemming, Head Curator of Pakistan Cricket Board, arrives in Pakistan to prepare pitches for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 and home tests series.
Tonny has recently been given a two-year contract as a Head Curator by the PCB. Heming is an experienced and well-revered curator around the world.
He has prepared pitches in some of the well-known stadiums around the world including Perth, Melbourne, and Tasmania. He has prepared pitches in countries such as the UAE, Bangladesh, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc. He was the ICC’s Head Curator in Dubai from 2007 to 2017.
Hemming has been privy to the Pakistan Cricket Team. He oversaw the preparation of pitches in Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which was the home venue for Pakistan from 2009 to 2019.
Before joining PCB, Tony worked with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) where he was the Head Curator till July 2023.
This is the first time that a long-term contract has been offered to a foreign curator by the PCB. Hemming hails from Western Australia
